... WHEN IN ROME
In February we visited Rome for 4 days. We tried to escape the shitty german weather and wanted to follow Dan Browns “Angles & Demons“ trails through the city. The weather was a dream - we had like 18-20 °C which was perfect for just walking, coffee or eating a pizza outside. We wanted to see a few things and bought the “ROME PASS” which is a “nice-to-have” because you don't have to wait in Line to see stuff like the Coloseum or Forum Romanum. You can also use the bus or the metro - all included in the price of the pass. Our Airbnb was actually in the middle of the city so we only used the bus or the metro four times. Instead of taking the bus we walked. A lot! My iPhone App says we walked about 38km in 3 1/2 days. There was a lot to see. Enough talking - here are the pictures.
- All of the following images were taken with my Leica M3 and a 50mm Summicron DR. I used Portra 400 and Fuji Pro400H - both overexposed by one stop. I also took the change to shoot Cinestill 50 and Cinestill 800 rated at 800 indoors and 500 outdoors using a 85BFilter.
